Episcopal Charities works in partnership with volunteers.
Working in partnership with Episcopal Charities, our volunteers
experience the extraordinary rewards that come from giving time
and talent to help others. In addition, volunteers serve as living
proof that "someone really does care" about those in need.
If you are interested in volunteering for Episcopal Charities,
or for any of the nonprofit agencies listed below, please contact: Jan Parkin, Events Coordinator, 415-869-7809,
jparkin@episcopalcharities.org.

Rebuilding Together
Rebuilding Together builds volunteer partnerships to rehabilitate homes and community facilities (day cares, churches, shelters, schools, etc.) of low-income, elderly and/or disabled neighbors so they can live in warmth, safety and independence. Typically this is a one-day event on the last Saturday in April and involves some modest physical labor in restoring low-income family housing or community facility repairs. Off season projects are also offered throughout the year.
Rebuilding Together relies on the generosity of the community to support the mission. Whether on a project site, or in the office or warehouse, you will make a difference. Volunteers are needed to lead projects, manage and recruit volunteers, skilled labor, office and warehouse support. Youth projects are also offered throughout the year.
There is a Rebuilding Together affiliate near you. Please visit www.rebuildingtogether.org or call 650.366.6597 for more local opportunities.
